Privacy Policy

The short version: your account, your notes, and your reading stay yours. We do not sell data and we do not run ads. You can download a copy of what we hold about you, or delete your account and everything attached to it, from your settings.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, and a securely hashed password), profile information you add, purchases and orders, your library, reading progress and highlights inside the protected reader, workbook answers, program requests, bookings, private messages with the team, and community posts. If you unlock a free guide without making an account, we keep only the email you typed and which guide you opened. We also collect minimal first-party analytics: pageviews and language preference. The cookies we set are the ones needed to run the site: your sign-in session, your language choice, and access to the free guide you unlocked.

How we use it

To run the service: deliver your library and protected reading, sync notes and highlights, process purchases and bookings, answer your requests, run the community and the message center, and improve the product with aggregated analytics. Service messages (confirmations, onboarding, replies) are sent through the site or by email.

What we don't do

We do not sell or rent your personal data, we do not run third-party ads or trackers, and we never share your reading or notes. Payment details are processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy; we only keep a record of the purchase. Three services make the site work and each handles only what it must: Cloudflare hosts it, Stripe takes the payment, and email is delivered by a mailing provider.

Your data, your controls

From your account settings you can download a copy of what we hold about you — profile, library, notes, orders, and program requests — and delete your account, which removes your account, library access, notes, and private messages. Public community posts are removed or anonymized when you delete your account. Requests you have made and orders are kept as records of the relationship. The books themselves are read on this site: what you download is your data, not the books.

Security and retention

Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2, sessions use HttpOnly cookies, and protected files are served only to the right account. We keep account records while the account exists and as long as required by law or for legitimate business records (orders, tax).

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we update this page. Questions about your data, or a request to see or delete it? Write to krusso@russoreset.com, or open a private message in your account — a real human answers within two business days.
